“Some people arrive and make such a beautiful impact on your life, you can barely remember what life was like without them.” Our hearts are heavy as we must now find a way to live without our dearest Carla Jo Martinez. Carla, age 49, passed away March 29, 2018, at her home in Temperance, MI. She was born June 2, 1968 in Ypsilanti, MI, the daughter of Joseph and Theresa Martinez. Carla is survived by her mother, Theresa Martinez; her brothers Joe and Anthony (Heather) Martinez; her sister Katina Martinez; many nephews and nieces including Justin, Kamron, Jaxon, Hunter, and Hannah; her fur babies Josie and Turbo and many loving uncles, aunts, cousins, and close friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 14th at 11:00 am at Church of God – Belleville with a luncheon to follow. Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the family to help offset the unexpected costs related to Carla’s loss.
