Betty L. Smith

Betty L. Smith, age 72, of Adrian, MI, passed away, May 20, 2019, at home with her family. She was born November 14, 1946, in Lynch, KY, the daughter of Lester & Irene (Roberts) Smith.  Betty was retired from the University of Michigan.  She was and avid fan of crime shows on television.  She is survived by her children, Regina Martin (Richard Gerow), Russell (LeAnn) Martin, Marlin Martin and James Vladu (Heather Simon), five grandchildren, Marlin, Samantha, Brandon, Tyshawn and Nicholas and three great granddaughters, Layla, Gabby and Henley.  She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Susan Smith and her favorite aunt & uncle, Harlas & Jacqueline Roberts.  Viewing & Visitation will be on Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM at J.
