Betty Jean Emerson

Betty Jean Emerson, age 67, of Adrian, MI, passed away, August 9, 2019 She was born December 16, 1951, in Adrian, MI, the daughter of Charles & Delzada (Snead) Hutchinson. Betty was an amazing person and caregiver, always putting the needs of other's ahead of her own.  Betty will be truly missed. She is survived by her brothers, Danny Hutchinson, Hal Hutchinson and David (Sandra) Hutchinson, her daughter, Marcie (Edward Ward) Emerson, three grandchildren, David Emerson, James Emerson and Chase Ward, great grandchildren, Delzada Elzie Emerson and DanElaine Yvonne Emerson, extended family member, Amanda Bunting and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her son; Marcus Emerson and lifelong companion & best friend, Mark "Spanky" Emerson.  Visitation will be on Thursday, August 15, 2019, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM August 16, 2019, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI. Burial will follow in Lenawee Hills Memorial Park, Adrian, MI.  A luncheon will follow the burial at the Ghost Riders MC Clubhouse.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to Bett'ys family.  www.PurseFuneralHome.com
