Bertram Kamprath

Bertram Kamprath, age 99, of Adrian, MI, formerly of Monroe, MI, passed away March 25, 2018.  He was born December 20, 1918, in Ida, MI, the son of John & Nora (Boehler) Kamprath.    Bert retired from Tenneco in Monroe after forty two years. He had a lawnmower repair shop at his son's business, Paul's Automotive, where he got to know many people following his retirement. Bert and his wife Dorothy moved to Adrian in 2010 to make their home with their granddaughter, Jessica Finney.  Bert was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church in Monroe.  He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Kamprath, his children, Paul (Brenda) Kamprath, John (Denine) Kamprath and Esther (Allan) Braun, stepdaughter, Sally (Harvey) Knitter, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and his sister, Doris Kolb.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Willetta Kamprath, one sister Clarabelle Kamprath and one brother, Gerald Kamprath.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Grace Lutheran Church, 630 N. Monroe Street, Monroe, MI, with Pastor Mark Witte officiating. Visitation will also be on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church in Monroe, MI. Arrangements are under the direction of J.
