Rollen Leo Hazel

Rollen Leo Hazel age 80, of Tecumseh, MI passed away November 28, 2021 at Oasis Nursing Home in Adrian, MI. He was born August 17, 1941 the son of Leo and Irene (Deer) Hazel. On June 19, 1964, he married the love of his life, Shirley Ann Ball and they shared 35 wonderful years together, before she proceeded him in death in 1999. Rollen loved to spend time with his son Wayne doing many different adventures together. You would never see Rollen without Wayne until he proceeded him in death in 2012. He is survived by his daughter, Paula (Mark) Rutan; 3 grandchildren, Chris (Jenny) Rutan, Michelle Rutan and Jessica Rutan; 3 great grandchildren, Zachary Rutan, Jayden Jaime, Emery Rutan; and 2 sisters, Helen and Carol. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Shirley, son Wayne and brother Oliver. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December, 4, 2021 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh, MI with Rev. Eric Hickman, Officiating. Visitations will also be held Saturday 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh. Private Burial will take place at East Lawn Cemetery, in Okemos, MI.
