Mischel Karen Lane, age 75, of Adrian, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 3, 2026. Born on October 12, 1950, Mischel was a lifelong member of the Adrian community. She graduated from Adrian High School with the Class of 1968 and dedicated 44 years of service to Inteva before retiring. Mischel shared 57 wonderful years of marriage with the love of her life, Richard Lane, who survives her. Together they built a family that was the center of her world. When her health allowed, Mischel found great joy in tending her gardens, filling her yard with beautiful flowers that reflected her caring spirit. More than anything, she cherished her role as “Nana.” She treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren and family, and nothing made her happier than gathering everyone together around the table. Feeding those she loved was one of the many ways she showed her affection, and her home was always a place of warmth, laughter, and comfort. She is survived by her devoted husband, Richard Lane; her children, Jason and Nikki Lane, and Tiffany and Mike Gosselin; her cherished grandchildren, Brandon, Sage, Ella, Cole, Quinn, Matthew, Mitchell, and Michael; her precious great-granddaughter, Harper; and her beloved aunt, Judy Stetten. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Ansted. Mischel’s greatest joy was the people she loved. She leaves behind a lifetime of treasured memories, from family dinners and holiday gatherings to quiet moments holding and rocking her grandbabies. Her gentle heart, caring nature, and unconditional love for her family will be deeply missed, but the lessons she taught, the traditions she created, and the love she gave so freely will remain with those who knew and loved her forever. In keeping with Mischel’s wishes, a private family memorial service will be held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Her flowers may one day fade with the seasons, but the love she planted in the hearts of her family will continue to bloom for generations to come.
