Margaret (Marge) Parks Obituary

Margaret (Marge) Emma Parks (Zuke) of Onsted, MI was called home to be with our Lord Jesus on January 19th, 2021 in her home under the care of Hospice surrounded by family. Marge was born January 24,1935 in New Boston, MI to Vera and Jay Zuke. Marge grew up in Jackson, MI. In 1969 she moved her family to Manitou Beach where she resided for 10 years before moving to South Carolina. In 1991 Marge lost her husband Mike Parks to Cancer and returned to Michigan a few years later. Marge’s personality was larger than life, she never met a stranger. Marge spent her life serving people. She began working for the Applebee’s Corp while living in South Carolina and retired from Applebee’s in Adrian, MI.  Marge loved to bowl and play Euchre with her friends. She also loved finding treasure at the thrift stores.  Marge loved her family dearly they were her whole world. Marge is survived by her Siblings Gerald Zuke, Myrtle (Gerald) Norton and Roberta Dale. She is also survived by her children Audrey (Randy) Biggins Onsted, MI; Edward (Edith) Horton Adrian, MI; David (Carla) Horton Jackson, MI; Steven (Janice) Eberly Hot Springs, AR; Terry Eberly (Sherry Hester) Easley, SC; Tony (Karen) Eberly Las Vegas, NV;  Pam (Donald) Greenway Duncan, SC; Jeff Eberly Easley, SC; Sheri (Brian) Tiede Belleville, MI; Douglas (Tammy) Eberly Adrian, MI. She was the loving grandmother of 25 Grandchildren, 40 Great Grandchildren, 6 Great-Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews whom she adored. She will be dearly missed, she leaves her family as her legacy. Marge is preceded in death by her husband Michael Parks, parents Vera and Jay Zuke her sons Allen Horton and Dennis Eberly, her siblings Jim, Norman, Ray, Alonzo, and Lillian Zuke and Florence Gales. The family is planning a celebration of life at a later date.
