Kathleen Orner

Kathleen Orner, age 62, of Adrian, MI, passed away, December 5, 2022, at home with her family.  She was born July 11, 1960, in Jackson, MI, the daughter of Elliott & Naomi (Barnett) Cornwell. On February 17, 1983, she married Kevin Orner, he survives.  Kathleen loved to fish, crochet, knit, draw and spend time with her family and extended family. She fought cancer for over four years and eight months and never complained. She was very strong and was our hero.  In addition to her husband Kevin, she is survived two sons, Kevin James Orner (Rhonda) and Randall Lee Orner (Kristina); five grandchildren, Corbin, Aiden, Aliana, Lilly and Lila; her father, Elliott (Jan) Cornwell; one brother, Randall Cornwell; two sisters, Tina Daley (Mike) and Patricia Mapes; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Naomi Cornwell.  Funeral Services will be held 1:30 PM Friday, December 9, 2022, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Graveside Services will follow in Fitchburg Cemetery, Bunker Hill Twp., MI.
