Ignacio "Joe" Cuellar III

Ignacio "Joe" Cuellar III, age 53, of Adrian, MI, passed away peacefully at home, August 10, 2022 He was born January 6, 1969, in Adrian, MI, the son of Ignacio Jr. & Rosemary (Estala) Cuellar.  Joe loved to fish and hunt. He was an avid Detroit Lions fan and Los Angeles Lakers. Joe looked forward to the 4th of July and loved his fireworks. He loved to do night rides with his kitten on his electric wheelchair. He enjoyed playing cards with his friends and spending time with his family.  Joe is survived by his children, Erin DeJesus, Ignacio "Joey" Cuellar IV and Sarina (Olvin) Herrera; two granddaughters, Gianna, Remmi and Genesis on the way; his sister, Stephanie Cuellar; nephew, Daniel Cuellar; niece, Dyana Cruz; many special aunts, uncles and cousins; and his best friend since childhood, Louis Flores.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Ignacio Cuellar Jr. and Rosemary Estala; one brother, Samuel "Sammy"; grandparents, Ignacio & Eligia Cuellar and Benino & Mary Estala.  Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, August 18, 2022, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Claude Bevier officiating. Viewing & Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at J.
