Eleanor Lazarz

Eleanor   Lazarz, age 86, of Tipton, MI, passed away, March 3, 2021, at home with her family.  She was born June 2, 1934, in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Joseph & Cecelia (Hauck) Fleishhacker. On August 20, 1955, she married Jerome Lazarz in Detroit, MI.  He preceded her in death on November 15, 2017.  Eleanor and Jerome along with their son Phillip owned & operated Dawn to Dusk Cedar Products for 18 years, where she sold her paintings and other art work.  She was a great cook of Polish meals.  Eleanor loved her family, traveling, her pets and all animals.  Her paintings reflected her love of living in the country and animals.  Eleanor was a devout Catholic and had a strong faith.  She is survived by her children, Cindy Lazarz, Phillip Lazarz and Susie (Paul) Netter, her grandchildren, Matthew Eiermann, Katie (Andy) Groover, Jenna (Chris) Heidisch, P. J. Lazarz, Elly Netter, Nicholas Netter, AnneMarie Netter and Bernadette Netter; five great grandchildren, one sister, Joan Zissler and many cousins, nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband Jerome, she was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Lorrie Lazarz and siblings, Dorothy Fleishhacker, Mary Brophy, Joseph Ross Fleishhacker, Charlie Fleishhacker and Delores Newcomb.  The family would like to thank Hospice of Lenawee as well as Department on Aging for going above and beyond for their help, care and support system for over the past six years.  Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM Monday, March 8, 2021, at St. Joseph Shrine Catholic, 8743 US Hwy -12. Brooklyn, MI, with Fr. Bob Pienta presiding. Entombment will follow in St. Hedwig Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum, Dearborn Heights, MI.  Visitation will be on Monday from 9:00 AM until the time of Mass at St. Joseph Shrine Church.  Memorial contributions may be made to Eleanor's family to be used accordingly.  Arrangements entrusted to J.
