Conrad "Connie" Bartram

Conrad "Connie" Bartram, age 91, a longtime resident of Clinton, passed away peacefully, June 12, 2021 at home.  He was born January 12, 1930 in Wayne County, WV, the son of Milton and Vena (Ailiff) Bartram.  On February 14, 1954, he married Helen L. Caskey and she preceded him in death on January 19,  2010. Connie was a graduate of Fort Gay High School in West Virginia.  He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. Connie was retired from Tecumseh Products Company. He was a member of Pieper Hull Sparks Clinton American Legion Post 176. He is survived by his daughter, Marilyn (Kirk) Nagel of Dexter; granddaughter, Lara (Clint Zimmerman) Bartram of Ann Arbor; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife Helen, Connie was preceded in death by parents, five sisters, and four brothers. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 17, 2021 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh, with Rev. Diane White officiating.  Interment will follow at Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh, with military honors will be performed by Clinton American Legion Post 176. Visitation will take place Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. and one hour prior to funeral services on Thursday at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Lenawee Humane Society.
