Carol N. Spadafora

Carol N. Spadafora, age 88, of Manitou Beach, MI, passed away, February 24, 2023, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle crash. She was born September 5, 1934, in Dearborn, MI, the daughter of George & Thelma (Shove) Woody. On October 30, 1954, she married Richard Anthony Spadafora, he preceded her in death on December 5, 1998.  Carol attended the Lutheran church of the Lakes. She owned and operated Spadafora's Mini-Warehouse. Carol enjoyed playing bingo & cards with her many friends.  She is survived by her children, Anthony (Lisa Treffinger) Spadafora, Janice (John Anderson) Houge, Milissa (Tom Mueller) Spadafora; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; two sisters in law, Carlene Woody and Geraldine Woody; brother in law, Gary Pawson; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her husband, Richard; she was preceded in death by her parents, George & Thelma Woody, two brothers, John Woody and Gerald Woody; two sisters, Hazel Pawson and Pearl Rosenfield and brother in law, Nelson Rosenfield.  Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday March 6, 2023, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Kurt Lambart officiating. Burial will follow in North Rome Cemetery. Viewing & Visitation will also be on Monday from 12:00 PM until the time of service at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.
