Scott Hadden Obituary

Scott Garrett Hadden, age 55, of Onsted, MI, passed away, March 1, 2019, at home with his family. He was born October 11, 1963, in Adrian, MI, the son of James & Ruth (Smith) Hadden. Scott was a graduate if Onsted High School Class of 1982.    On April 17, 1998, he married Rosey Raffel, she survives.  He worked at Martinrea in Manchester, MI for over the past ten years and also for the Daily Telegram in Adrian. Scott was previously employed by Modern Builders Supply in Jackson and Ferrell Gas in Jackson. He loved all sports, especially, bowling, softball and golf. Scott loved to travel. He loved animals and volunteered at the Lenawee Humane Society. In January of 2015, he was diagnosed with Melanoma. Scott fought his battle with melanoma for four years until The Lord called him home. He has been a member of Adrian First Church of the Nazarene for eight years. In addition to his wife Rosey Hadden, he is survived by his children, Hannah Hadden of Onsted, Tannor Hadden and his girlfriend, Becca of Clinton Twp., and Trevor Hadden of Highland, his parents, Jim & Ruth Hadden of Onsted, his siblings, Doug (Tammy) Hadden of Adrian and Kelli (Carl) Willgus of Onsted and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ed & Elsie Hadden and Wayne & Adeline Wilson.  Per Scott's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Adrian First Church of the Nazarene on March 17th at 2 PM.  A dinner will follow.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee or Scott's family to be used accordingly.  www.PurseFuneralHome.com
