Robert "Bob" G. McDonald, age 73, of Clinton, passed away peacefully March 20, 2019 at home. He was born September 24, 1945 in Wayne, MI the son of Edward A. and Ruth L. (Martin) McDonald. On October 29, 1971 he married Keitha Mae Hettinger in Ypsilanti, MI. She survives. Bob was a Veteran of United States Army stationed at the Berlin Wall during the Cold War Era. He was retired from Ford Motor Company, Saline Plant, with 37 years of service. Bob was a member of the Moose Lodge, Brooklyn, MI and lifetime member of Tecumseh American Legion #4187. In addition to his wife, Keitha, Robert is survived by his children, Jacquelyn (Scott) Keefer, Cary (Cindy Baker) Miotke, David (Jennifer) McDonald, and Alycia (Anthony) Aiello; 7 grandchildren; a great grandson; two brothers; Keith (Hazel) McDonald and Mike (Roberta) McDonald; sister in law, Joy McDonald, and brother in law, Michael Taddie He was preceded in death by a brother Patrick and sister, Jayne Taddie. Memorial services will be held 12:00 p.m. (Noon) Saturday, March 23, 2019 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh, MI. Military honors will be performed by Tecumseh American Legion Post #34 and Tecumseh VFW Post #4187 Honor Guard. Visitation will also take place on Saturday March 23, 2019 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh from 11:00 a.m. until time of memorial service. A luncheon will follow at 2 PM at the American Legion, 320 West Michigan Avenue, in Saline, Michigan.
