Mack Morris Ellcessor

Mack Morris Ellcessor, age 86, of Manitou Beach, MI, passed away, September 14, 2018, at Hospice of Lenawee. He was born April 25, 1932, in Huntington, West Virginia, the son of Roy & Chloe (Morris) Ellcessor.  On April 30 1958 he married Gilene Isbell. She preceded him in death on August 2, 2002.  Mack served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He retired from the Ford Wixom Assembly Plant after 35 years of service.  Mack was a member of the Jim Beam Club and traveled to many auctions all over the country with his wife. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. During his younger years he enjoyed fishing & pheasant hunting. Mack was the rock of his family.  He is survived by his daughter, Vicki Henderson, his grandchildren, Anthony Morris James Javello and Autumn Lynn Henderson, two great grandsons, Beau Dawson and Mason and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Gilene Ellcessor, three sisters and one brother in infancy.  Visitation will be on Sunday, September 16, 2018, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, September 17, 2018, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh, MI, with Military Honors performed by the Michigan Army National Guard.  www.PurseFuneralHome.com
