Clara May (Thompson) Sprunger

Clara May Sprunger,  age 81, of Rives Junction, died May 14, 2019. She was born April 11, 1938 in Jackson, MI, the daughter of George and Elsie (Lennox) Thompson. Clara is survived by her children, Earl (Carrie) Sprunger, Jr., Filip  (Dawn) Sprunger, Sandra (Dennis) Signor, Kevin (Sally) Sprunger; 14 grandchildren, Betty Jo (Gary), Earl III (Jessica), Mark, Bryant, Chasity, Ariel, Amanda, Laura (Travis), Tracy (Matt), Kevin Jr. (Jodi), Dennis, Timothy, Brandon, Jeremey; 32 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Sprunger, Sr.; sons, Dennis Sprunger, Thomas Sprunger; grandson, Filip "Little Fil", brother, James Thompson, and sister, Mary Lou Harrington. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2019 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh, with Rev. Lorraine Grinnel officiating. Visitation will also be on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh. Final resting place will be at Draper Cemetery, Rives Junction.
