Heaven has gained a beautiful soul.  Sheila Thomas of Morenci, MI passed away on October 12th surrounded by family under the care of Hospice of Lenawee.  Sheila was born on October 9th 1963 to Clyde and Bobbie Evans.  She graduated in 1981 from Sand Creek High School.  Sheila was an extremely caring person often putting everybody else’s needs above her own.  She is known for being an amazing cook.  You could ask her to make you anything and she would, no matter the difficulty.  She also enjoyed spending time with family of which she was very proud.  Sheila is proceeded in death by her grandparents.  Sheila is survived by her parents and sisters:  Sherry Rittersbach and Shanna (Dave) Wolverton, children:  Heather (Matt) Holt, Casey (Dave) Holt, Cody Thomas, Caleb Thomas, grandchildren:  Emeri, Kynleigh, and Beckett, and many nieces and nephews.  There will be no memorial service in accordance with Sheila’s wishes.  Cremation will take place through J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lenawee County Humane Society as Sheila was an animal lover.  www.PurseFuneralHome.com
