Scott Clymer

On Friday July 16, 2021, Scott Clymer passed away surrounded by family.  On February 27, 1958, he was born in Adrian, MI, to Charles & Patricia (McElfresh) Clymer.  On October 26, 2017, he married the love of his life Kimberly Allison.  Scott was an avid bowler and even had a 300 game.  He loved bowling in tournaments with his brother, brother in law and nephews.  Scott was a fan of U of M Football, NASCAR, working security at MIS, but most of all, he loved his dogs, Romeo, Juliet and Dude.  Scott was the best son, husband, father, brother and uncle, but he was the best grandfather, they could not do anything wrong he loved them with all his heart.  If you needed help he would drop what he was doing and come and help you.  Scott is survived by his mother, Pat; wife, Kim; son, Josh (Kim) Clymer; grandchildren, Tyler Clymer of Kentucky, Michael Clymer of Kentucky, Brandin Clymer, Jared Scamp, Tyler (Siara) Niner, Logan Scamp and Halena Dickerson; two great grandsons, Cayson Dittis and Caden Scamp; his siblings, Sherry (Lynn) Demski, Vickie Smolinski and Chuck (Kathy) Clymer; one uncle, John (Bonnie) McElfresh; and many nieces, nephews, sister in laws, brother in laws and lots of great friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Clymer Sr., his grandparents, two uncles, Pete Clymer & James McElfresh, his aunt, Diana Reinke, two cousins, Russell Reinke and Mike Clymer; and also his beloved dog, Lil Dude.  Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, July 24, 2021, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor CJ Clymer officiating.  Viewing & Visitation will also be on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at J.
