Sally Chittenden

Sally Chittenden, age 85, of Palmyra, MI, passed away, January 13, 2023, at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, OH. She was born April 4, 1937, in Riga, MI, the daughter of Stanley & Rose (Fischer) Betz. On April 15, 1961, she married Donald Chittenden in Riga, MI, he survives.  Sally was a graduate of Blissfield High School. She worked for General Telephone Co. in Blissfield from 1957 to 1961.  In addition to her husband Donald, she is survived by her children, Vicki (Brian) Timm, Robert Chittenden, Barbara (Clarence) Stites and Janet (Rich) Paul; stepson, Mike (Nancy) Chittenden; thirteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; her twin sister, Susie (John) Sharp; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley & Rose Betz; siblings, Sedonna Clark, Homer Betz, Harley Betz, Herbert Betz, Erma Steib and Alice Betz in infancy.  Viewing & Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:0 PM at J.
