Mary Jo (Green) Hoppe

Mary Jo (Green) Hoppe, age 59, of Monroe, MI passed away of natural causes on Monday, August 14, 2023, with her beloved kitty, “Miss Kee Kee Dee” She was born on October 8, 1963, to Barbara Janet (Damon) Green and Lynn Erwin Green of Dundee, MI. She attended Dundee Elementary, Jr. High, and High School, and graduated with her class of 1981. She went on to complete a cosmetology program and obtained her license.  She also was accepted to a nursing program. Mary Jo is survived by a sister and brother, Kathleen Miller of Onsted, MI, and Robert Green of Durand, MI, and a daughter, Jessi, and a granddaughter. She had five nephews, Joey, Bryan, and Jason Green, and John and Michael Miller, as well as nieces and nephews and two great nieces. Mary Jo was preceded  in death by Ricky Egberto (first husband),  Daniel Hoppe (second husband),  and Jerome (significant other). Funeral services will be held at Christian Fellowship Church, 426 Jerome St.,  Monroe, MI, 48161, at 12:00 pm,  on Sept. 9, 2023,  with a luncheon to follow.
