Maria "Mary" DeJesus Linares

Maria "Mary" DeJesus Linares, age 79, of Adrian, MI, passed away June 18, 2023, at Lenawee Medical Care Facility, surrounded by her family. She was born January 8, 1944, in Laredo, TX, the daughter of Salome & Maria (Tapia) Rodriguez. On October 15, 1964 she married Fidencio "Felix" Linares. He preceded her in death on March 1, 2020.  Mary enjoyed cooking, bingo, listening to Mexican music and especially spending time with her family.  In addition to her husband Fidencio "Felix", she was preceded in death by her parents, Salome & Maria Tapia; one brother, Pedro Tapia; and two sisters in law, Carlota Tapia and Ana Maria Tapia.  Maria is survived by her seven children, Michelle (Brent) Wilder, Fidencio III (Michelle) Linares, Patricia (Randy) Kopke, Thomas (Kim) Linares, Gerald Linares, Paul (Tammie) Linares and Carol Linares, 22 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; her siblings, Matias Tapia, Alicia Feliz (Juan) Quiroz, Jeanne Guzman, Salome Jr. (Juanita) Tapia, Ruben (Rosalia) Tapia, Roberto (Maria) Tapia and Rosalinda (Raul) Vergara; and numerous nieces & nephews. You are all greatly appreciated.  Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 AM Friday, June 23, 2023, at Holy Family Parish, St. Mary Campus, 305 Division St., Adrian, MI. Rite of Committal will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Adrian, MI. Viewing & Visitation will be on Thursday, June 22, 2033 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at J.
