Maggie Yielding

Maggie Yielding, age 87, of Adrian, MI, passed away, August 12, 2023, at home surrounded by her family. She was born January 20, 1936, in Hackleburg, AL, the daughter of David & Mattie (Green) Yielding.  Maggie was a lifelong member of Bible Missionary Church in Adrian, MI. She was retired from Fisher Body in Tecumseh. Maggie enjoyed canning, quilting and spending time with her family.  She is survived by her two daughters, Lynda Yielding and Debby Wilcox; seven grandchildren, Amber (Don) Hass, Taylor Hess, William Yielding, Adina Justice, Chelsea Marshall, Randall Yielding and Danielle Yielding; five great grandchildren, Madison, Aiden, Abigail, James and Aubrey; and her best friend of 60 years, Vivian Grady.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, William Yielding, one grandson, Ryan Yielding; and all her siblings.  Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Eddie McClure officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Adrian, MI.
