John Christopher Roberts, age 39, of Sand Creek, MI, passed away, July 20, 2023. He was born April 30, 1984, in Ashtabula, OH, the son of Gene Sr. & Rhonda (Mosier) Roberts. John was a Class of 2002 graduate of Lakeside High School in Ashtabula, OH. He was currently employed as the manager of the Lightning Quick in Jasper, MI. John loved to cook and spend time with his family & friends. John was especially fond of his cats and dogs. He is survived by his mother, Rhonda Roberts; his siblings, Rebecca Hervey, Gene Roberts Jr. and Jennifer Roberts; grandfather, Ronald Mosier; his fiance, Aydan Bennett; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and close friend for over 20 years, Larry Stevens. He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Roberts Sr.; and grandmother, Maryann Mosier. Funeral Services will be held 5:00 PM Friday, July 28, 2023, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N.
