John Hollis

John Hollis, age 62, of Britton, passed away July 24, 2021 at home, surrounded by his family. He was born August 30, 1958, in Tecumseh, the son of  J.W. and Shirley (Righter) Hollis. On December 8, 2016 he married Linda Lee West in Gatlinburg, TN and she survives. In addition to his wife Linda, John is survived by 6 children; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; his mother, 3 brothers, and one sister. He was preceded in death by his father, and granddaughter. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 29, 2021 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Rev. Lynn Brooks officiating.  Interment will follow at Ridgeway Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday July 28, 2021 and again on Thursday, one hour prior to services at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral, Tecumseh. The Hollis Family would like to thank Hospice of Lenawee for their support and care during this difficult time.
