Jesse Torres, Jr.

Jesse Torres, Jr.,age 81, of Hudson, MI, passed away, May 31, 2023.  He was born February 6, 1942, in San Antonio, TX, the son of Jesse Sr. & Beatrice (Delgado) Torres. On October 26, 1963, he married Mary Cortez in Adrian, MI, she survives.  Jesse retired from the U.S. Air Force in May of 1980 after 20 years of faithful & honorable service. He then went onto work for Wacker Silicones for over 17 years eventually retiring from there. Jesse was was a loving husband, father & grandfather. He loved all his sisters and brothers.  In addition to his wife, Mary Lou Torres, he is survived his children, Randy Torres and Gina (Scott) Torres- Shough; step-children, Michael, Holly and Benjamin; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Damien, Azariah, Ezekiel, Natalie, Anthony, Martika, Keana, Christopher, Scotty, Nyasha, Marissa and Ryan and many great grandchildren; six sisters, Theresa (James) Hall, Nelda Ramirez, Sandra Rich, Lupe (Keith) Hadlett, Kathy (Ross) Reyes, Elva (Tony) Cuestas; two brothers, David (Gloria) Torres and Raymond Torres; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Sr. & Beatrice Torres, one son, Jesse Torres III, one daughter, Tina Parish; one grandson, Joshua Torres; and son in law, Scott Parish.  Funeral Services will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, June 3, 2023, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Claude Bevier officiating. Military Honors will be performed by the U.S. Air Force Wright-Patterson AFB Honor Guard.
