Jacqueline "Jackie" Sanderson

Jacqueline "Jackie" Sanderson, age 76, of Adrian, MI, passed away, February 16, 2023.  She was born December 29, 1946, in Vina, Alabama, the daughter of O'Neal & Molly (Mallion) Gilliland. On July 25, 1970, she married Samuel "Steve" Sanderson, he preceded her in death on August 31, 2010.  Jackie is survived by two sons, Samuel (Luann) Sanderson and Michael (Cameron Grossmann) Sanderson; three grandchildren, Cristina (Jarett) Cowen, Shania Lapidus, Samuel Wheeler and Emma-Jo Grossmann; two great grandchildren, Zaelyn Momeyer and Rylee Cowen; one sister, Carol (Bob) Melman; and two nieces, Julie Melman Cone and Jessica Melman.  In addition to her husband Samuel "Steve" Sanderson, she was preceded in death by one sister, Linda "Jeannie" Gilliland; and her parents, O'Neal & Molly Gilliland.  Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 21, 2023. at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Burial will follow in Palmyra Cemetery. Viewing & Visitation will also be on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at J.
