George Spitaleri Obituary

George Samuel Spitaleri, age 80, of Onsted, MI, passed away, July 7, 2023, with his loving wife by his side. He was born March 13, 1943 in Detroit, MI, the son of Wilson & Virginia Spitaleri. George served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was retired from General Motors, Willow Run Assembly, after 30 years of service. George also worked for over 25 years at Hills Heart of the Lakes Golf Course in Brooklyn, MI. He is survived by his wife, Mary Spitaleri; his sons, Dennis Lindeman and Keith (Lori) Tucker; his daughters, Tina (Pat) Iott and Michelle (Dion) Gaiera; his grandchildren, Haley Bianco, Skyler Lindeman, Ashley (Kyle) Gabolis, Alexis (Brennan) Iddings, Anthony Gaiera, Chris Gaiera, Michael Gaiera, Christian Gaiera, Baleigh Iott and Patrick Iott; brothers in law & best friends, Ben (Pam) Lewis, Rick (Dawn) Guttierez and Brian (Shirley) Lavish; and sister in law, Anne Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, David Scott Spitaleri and David Tucker; his sister, Connie McKee; and brother in law, Al Moore. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
