Frances A. Knauss, age 95, of Manchester, MI, passed away, February 23, 2021, at home with her family. She was born April 27, 1925, in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Vincent & Anna (Strombus) Lepshis. In October of 1951, she married Gaylord Wayne Knauss, he preceded her in death. Frances loved cooking, animals of all sorts, gardening and most of all, her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Gaylord II (Margaret) Knauss of Tecumseh, MI, Gary Knauss of Grass Lake, MI, Gretchen (Bob) Bailey of Salida, CO, and Gina Knauss of Manchester, MI; her grandchildren, Nichole (Don) Tippy, Carl (Elena) Knauss and Travis Knauss; beloved sister, Elizabeth (George) Daubner of Manchester, MI, several nieces and nephews and her closest friend her dog, Millie. In addition to her husband Gaylord, she was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Eccles and brother in law, Clark Eccles.
