Eunice Onilee Dancer

Eunice Onilee Dancer, age 93, passed away August 16, 2023 at Cedar Woods Assisted Living in Belleville, MI.   She was born in Waterloo Township, MI to Hazen and Irene Lehmann.  She met her husband Dwain Jene Dancer at Short Course, Michigan State University.  They were married on April 26, 1950. Eunice was not only a loving Mom to her children but loving mother to many. Eunice loved gardening, sewing, knitting and to travel .  She was a homemaker on the farm in Jackson and Munith, Michigan but also worked as cashier at a grocery store, secretary at Jackson County Farm Bureau and Jackson County Fair.  Eunice was a member of the United Methodist Church in Munith, MI and Tavares, FL serving as a Sunday School Teacher and many committees. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughters Jean and Donna Dancer ; son by love, Logan Beckwith II; Son-In-Law, Tom Ilax; Sisters Evelyn  Osborne and Janette Colvia; brother, Gerald Lehmann; brother-in- laws, William Osborne, Norm Colvia and Mike Baize. She is remembered and dearly missed by her daughters, Lois (Olis) Burch of Manitou Beach, MI; Susan Ilax of Cedar Falls, Iowa and Anita (David) Thornell of Chesterfield, MI; son, James (Kim) Dancer of Fairport, NY; grandchildren Olis(April) Burch, Jr., Jordan(Vickie) Dancer, Nathan (Crystle) Burch, and Ashlea (Mark) Nacey; six great grandchildren; brother, Roger(Jane) Lehmann; Sister, Karen (Baize) and (Tim) Whyte; and Family by Love, Beckwith grandchildren and their families.  No funeral services will be held.  The family has chosen to have a Celebration of Life at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Munith United Methodist Church, 224 N.
