Diana Victoria Garcia Carter

Diana Victoria Garcia Carter, age 39, of Waterford, MI, passed away at Trinity Hospital Oakland Campus, Pontiac, MI, on August 1, 2023. She was born November 22, 1983, in Adrian, MI to the late Alberto & Carmen (Montalvo) Garcia. She married Jimmy Lee Carter Jr. of Waterford on February 4, 2023, and from this union Lyanna Carmen Carter was born.  Diana began her schooling at Blissfield High School and went on to  further her education at Siena Heights University where graduated with a bachelors degree in Sports Management.  She worked at Waterford School District, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Tony Packo’s.  Diana enjoyed sewing, crocheting  and her greatest joy taking care of her precious daughter Lyanna,  Diana is survived by  her husband Jimmy, daughter Lyanna, her siblings Patricia (Domingo) Ybarra, Dolores (Dory) Bryant,  Ricardo (Jamie), Garcia,  Esteban Garcia, Virginia (Brian) Jakubowski, Cristina (Jerry) Fisher, two brothers-in-laws Deandre and Kamal Carter, mother-in-law  Diana Carter, father-in-law Jimmy Carter, stepchildren Jimeeka, Union, Urbyn, Uryan, and Unity,   her ride or die Stefoni Rosas-Garcia,  along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Diana was preceded in death by her parents Alberto & Carmen Garcia, sister, Anna Garcia-Ortiz and Baby Carter.  Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, August 5, 2023, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, Bishop Ramon Rosas officiating.  Viewing & Visitation will also be on Saturday from 12:00 PM until the time of service at J.
