Anthony Davidson Obituary

Anthony James “AJ” Davidson

September 7, 1983 - June 8, 2023  On Thursday June 8, 2023 in Blissfield, MI, this world lost an amazing spirit with the unexpected passing of our husband, brother, father, uncle, cousin, and friend, Anthony James “AJ” Davidson.  AJ was born on September 7, 1983 at U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor to Polly and Cleve Davidson.   AJ transformed the lives of everyone he encountered in one way or another, even if you just met him in passing. When AJ brought you into his ‘circle of trust’ he brought you into the family he was creating, that meant you were connected and protected for life. He was larger than life, not just his physical size, but in his energetic personality and the amount of love he had for his family and friends. He was known for having super-human type strength, fierce loyalty, a “dirty” sense of humor,  and the best decorated house for Halloween. AJ was a die hard Detroit Lions fan whether they lost or almost won, he would even say they could win the Super Bowl. He also enjoyed playing basketball in the park and hanging from the rim after he dunked over one of his brothers. If he couldn’t play ball outside, he would spend his time playing NBA 2K on Playstation, along with most other video games, with his brothers and friends.   AJ took a lot of pride in his home, one of his favorite past times was mowing the lawn or doing some sort of yard work. He enjoyed cooking for his family, especially throwing a BBQ in his backyard. Spending time with his wife Judy (as he lovingly called Woman or Warden) and watching movies with her was his favorite way to share quality time even if it was just to talk about the day or make each other laugh. He always aimed to make everyone around him happy and laugh, 9 times out of 10 it would be from dancing to “When I’m Clowning” by ICP, “Poker Face” by Lady Gaga, “Bubble Butt” by Major Lazer, and his favorite “Git Up” by Blanco Brown. He really enjoyed the paranormal, watching TV shows and even running his own ghost searches, so don’t be surprised if AJ stops by to say “Hi!”  AJ was preceded in death by his mother Paula Davidson, his father Cleveland Davidson, his brother Lloyd Davidson, grandson Caden Quigley, and many aunts, uncles, and grandparents. AJ is survived by his whole world - his wife Judy Shewman of Adrian, his sister Pebbles Reams (Bryne) of Bono, AR, his brother Chris Davidson (Katie) of Adrian, his twin brother Tim (Laura) Davidson of Adrian, his brother Ricky Quigley of Adrian, his son CJ Quigley of Adrian his daughter Tavia Kingsley of Ypsilanti. His nieces Harmony, Krystina, Haylee, Kaleena, Madisyn, Marleigh and Kaley. His nephews Jacob, Jaxon, Deacon, Deuce, Gabriel, Austin, and Cody.  In lieu of flowers you can make a donation to the family at the Blissfield BP located at 505 W. Adrian St., Blissfield or email Tim Davidson tdavidson0204@yahoo.com  There will be a celebration of life BBQ potluck on June 14, 2023 at 321 Mulzer St. in Adrian from 3-6 pm. If you would like to come and celebrate AJ and his life, we want to ask that you will wear any of your favorite sports, graphic, music or Insane Clown Posse shirts and bring a dish to pass.  Arrangements entrusted to J.
