Amanie Ilayne Heathcock, July 24, 2022- June 19, 2023. Amanie Ilayne Heathcock, also known as Boog, Chunk-a-Munk, Little Ma, Manie Manie, Smoodge, Booger butt, Pooh, Poohbutt and Smalls, was the happiest baby, who always welcomed new people with a smile. She loved blueberries, her family and playing in the grass. She always loved to try new things and loved new adventures. She was fearless. Amanie gave the best hugs and open mouth kisses. She would scrunch her little nose to let you know she was the boss. She loved to try any food, that most would not even touch. She lit up every room she entered, and touched everyone’s hearts. Amanie was preceded in death by, PawPaw Jack, PaPa Dwayne, Grandpa and Grandma Griffith, and Nachina Morrow. She is survived by her mother, Alexus McDade; father, Dakota Heathcock; grandparents, Cortney Griffith, Jay McCarty, Katrina Taylor, Jay and Daisy Frith; aunts and uncles, Zerena Griffith, Michael Casper, Annie McDade, Kelsey McCarty, Madison Metcalf, Tiffany Weeks, Celeste Thompson, Josh Thompson, TJ, Tristan and Destiny Taylor, Khristofer Taylor; cousins, Audrey, Evalynn, Francis, Kensly, Kindness, Korina Mariana, Kyro, Quinton; great grandparents, Carrie and Timothy Wright, Eddie and Regina Griffith, Jamie Cain, Juana Heathcock, Keith Taylor; great-great grandparent, Josie Wright; god mother, Joeleen Morrow; and many more family members and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, June 23, 2023, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Adrian, MI. Visitation for immediate family will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and open visitation will take place from 2:00 PM until the time of service.
