Johnie Cameron Myers

 

DATELINE: TECUMSEH, MI

Johnie Cameron Myers, age 86, of Tecumseh, passed away November 16, 2008.
Johnie was born in Elizabethton, TN the son of Aaron Bible and Laura Jane (Estep) Myers.  He married Norma Hughes on April 23, 1943 and she survives.    Johnie was retired from Meyers Industries, Tecumseh, MI.

In addition to his wife Norma, Johnie is survived by three daughters, Margaret Bates of Lancaster, OH, Ruth Curtis of Tecumseh,
and Pennie (Wayne) Mayes of Tecumseh,  two sons, Joe (Diane) Myers of Lancaster, OH, and J.C. Myers and Dee Doroghazy of Onsted; 20 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren. 

He was was preceded in death by two daughters, Brenda Bunting, and Donna Snead; a great grandson, and two son-in-laws.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday November 20, 2008 at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh, with Pastor Jeremy Godwin officiating. 

Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and again on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with the funeral service to immediately follow.
