Age
63, passed away, September 27, 2009, at home, after a lengthy illness.
He was born December 10, 1945, in Ann Arbor, MI, the son of Clifford &
Ruth Clickner. Don served two tours in Vietnam as a Navy Seabee. He
retired from the University of Michigan in 1997 as a carpenter. Don
enjoyed restoring classic cars, hunting, fishing, and his family and
friends. Don was a member of the Dexter American Legion Post 557.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Barbara, his children; Lance
(Rebecca) and Julie (John), his grandchildren, Emily, Jack, Matthew,
Annika and Brittany, his sisters; Rose and Judy along with several
nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his
parents, brothers, Carl and George, Daughter Jody, and grandchildren; Bo
& Brooke. Memorial Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, October 9,
2009, at the Dexter American Legion with a luncheon to follow. In lieu
of flowers, Donations are accepted by family members. Arrangements by J.
GILBERT PURSE FUNERAL HOME.
