Freda L. Brighton

Age 87, of Tecumseh, passed away October 3, 2009.  Freda was born March 21, 1922 in Macon, MI the daughter of Fred and Venia (Fielder) Creger. On September 22, 1942 she married Fred G. Brighton and he preceded her in death.  Her family was a source of pride and joy in her life. She was a loving, caring mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all.  Freda is survived by her children, Carol (Jack) Holderman of Tipton, Bonnie (Steve) Pfeffer of Jackson and Fred II (Marcy) Brighton of Ann Arbor; brother, Donald (Marie) Creger of Tecumseh; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.  Besides her husband, Fred, she was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters.  Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Thursday, October 8, 2009 at the J. Gilbert Purse Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Rev. Lloyd Jewett officiating. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh, Mi.  Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 P. M. Tuesday, October 6, 2009 and 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 P. M. Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at the J.
