William J. Poore

William J. Poore, age 75, of Adrian, MI, passed away, April 26, 2017 He was born February 25, 1942, in Briceville, Tennessee, the son of William Bruce & Juanita (White) Poore. William worked at General Motors for over 30 years at Fleetwood & Cadillac Plants.  He is survived by his wife, Audrey Poore, his children, Gregory Poore, Theresa Elvin and Becky Poore, seven grandchildren, Michael, Timothy, Courtney, Madelynn, Tyler, Amber and Nate, two great grandchildren, Jace and Malikie and one sister, Mary Carrol.  He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ralph & RC.  Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, April 29, 2017 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Gene Hurley officiating. Burial will follow in Palmyra Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and also on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.  www.PurseFuneralHome.com
