William J. "Wild Bill" McGraw, age 79, of Adrian, MI, passed away, October 16, 2016, at home with his family. He was born February 2, 1937, in Isaban, West Virginia, the son of Alonzo & Sara (Herald) McGraw. On June 6, 1959, he married Helen Marie Naramore. She preceded him in death in 1988. Bill retired from Cargotainer in Adrian, MI in 1988. He was a member of the Adrian Eagles and the Adrian Moose. He loved his dog Reggie, playing horseshoes along with fishing and hunting.. Bill is survived by his children, William David "Quick Draw" McGraw (Kim Ostrander), Tammy McGraw (Mike) Lewis, Pamela McGraw Tucker (Cary Underhill), Bruce "Buck" McGraw and Marcie McGraw (Mark Williams), four grandchildren, Joshua (Kelly) Smith, Natasha (Matt) Wetzel, Helena McGraw Tucker, and Lucas McGraw Tucker, eight great grandchildren, Brysen & Karly Smith, Jaeden & Braeden Wetzel, Blake & Connor Tucker, Ava Schlieger and Axil Davies, his siblings, Alice (Jim) Webb, Roger (Pat) McGraw, Arthur (Dottie) McGraw, Juanita (James) Patton and Russell McGraw and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife Helen, he was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Gregory McGraw, four brothers and three sisters. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI. Burial will take place in Flatwoods Cemetery, Berry, AL.
