Tarisa Maria Wertz, age 48, of Tecumseh, MI, passed away, May 14, 2015, surrounded by her family after a brief battle with cancer. She was born December 24, 1966, in Belleville, MI, the daughter of Richard Jr. & Maria Wertz, who survive. In addition to her parents, Tarisa leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her soul mate, Bryan Coleman. Her son William Richards. Her daughter & granddaughter, Mariana Wertz & Spencer Danielle. Her siblings Daniel & Dina Wertz. Nephews Phoenix, Dillon, & Wesley. Several step siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews. Tarisa enjoyed traveling, singing karaoke, and being on the lake fishing. Tarisa was very proud of her serenity she received through her hard work with "Bill W" and the countless experiences she had with his other friends. Tarisa was a dedicated worker, spending 16 years at Lenawee Stamping. Her coworkers could always depend on her to get the job done. Tarisa cherished her family above all else. Always making time to get everyone together and make new memories. Tarisa's unexpected passing is a shock to all. She always had a huge smile on the outside to match the compassionate heart inside of her. She had an upbeat and positive personality even in the darkest situations. Her infectious laugh brought joy to those around her. Tarisa will be missed by all. Her love for her family will continue on. Funeral Services will be held 6:00 PM Monday, May 18, 2015, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Gene Reitz officiating.
