Sheila M. Walden, loving mom, grandma and sister, passed away from complications of dementia on, February 24, 2017, at the age of 76 years. She was born June 4, 1940, in Fork Ridge, TN the daughter of William “Bill” & Lola (Gordon) Littrell. In 1953, her family moved from Tennessee to Clinton, MI. She graduated from Clinton High School, Class of 1958. On June 6, 1959, she married Wayne Hastings, he preceded her in death in 1970. In 1974, she married Manuel Walden, he preceded her in death on June 29, 2016. Sheila worked at the Tecumseh Products Co., retiring in 2001. Sheila is survived by her son, Brian Walden of Clinton, three grandchildren, Colby (Liza) Renner, Whitney Hastings and Tevon Hastings both of Tecumseh, three great grandchildren and two sisters, Patricia (Ron) Coffelt of Tipton and Ella Thomas of Kalkaska. In addition to her parents, Bill & Lola Littrell, and husbands, Wayne Hastings and Manuel Walden, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Hastings. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, March 2, 2017, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 210 W. Pottawatamie St., Tecumseh, MI. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Clinton, MI.
