Roger John Slick

Roger John Slick, age 62, of Britton, MI, passed away January 14, 2017.  Roger was born March 10, 1954 in Tecumseh, Michigan the son of John and Iris (Jones) Slick.  Funeral services will be 1:00 P. M. Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh.   Visitation will be 4:00 - 8:00 P. M. You hear this phrase often about many people but you are one of a kind. A carpenter, craftsman, plumber, framer, mechanic, machinist, innovator, creator, an artist.  A fisherman, musician, wood carver, there really isn’t anything you can’t do. You make the most beautiful wood carvings with a pocket knife that has surely been around longer than us. You have never needed special tools or elaborate things. You are so much but what you are greatest at is being a Dad and we are each one of a kind because of you.
