Roger D. Fox

Roger D. Fox, age 62, of Adrian, MI, passed away after a short illness, on the afternoon of September 24, 2016, at Toledo Hospital.   Roger was surrounded the entire day by those he loved most.  He was born on Christmas Eve, 1953 to Willis (deceased) and Clara (Lowery) Fox.   Roger was the youngest of 7 children.  Two brothers (both deceased), Frank and  Willis Jr. (Little Bit).  Four sisters, Jeanette Terlesky (deceased), Clara Crabb, Ethel Glisson and Jackie Fox (deceased).  In first grade Roger fell in love to Nancy Reed.   Although he would go on to have many girlfriends, Roger would always tell them that his heart belonged to Nancy.   He would later be married to the love of his life for 43 years and have 3 wonderful children,  Laura Beresford, Roger Fox II, and Heather Prewo.  He is survived by his additional loved ones... his loving other mother, Minerva Reed, two son-in-laws, Dean Beresford and Tom Heikkinen and daughter-in-law, Amy Fox.   To his grandchildren, Shannen, Kendal, Roger III, Tyler, April, Tracey, Mia, Michael, Quin and Zoie, know that your Grandpa and Bepa loved you more than anything.  You were all the joys of his life!   To the rest of his extended family, he would want you to know that,  "He has not went anywhere,  he will always be with us."  Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, September 29, 2016, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI.  Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at J.
