Robert "Artie" Butler

Robert "Artie" Butler, age 56, of Adrian, MI, passed away, April 11, 2017.  Artie was born at Davis Monthan Air Force Base Tuscan, Arizona, June 13, 1960, to Bob and Sandy Butler.  He attended Adrian Schools and worked many jobs in his lifetime.  He is survived by three sisters, Debbie Burciaga, Brenda Holt, and Donna (Mike) Keen; nieces and nephews, Robert Griesenger, Joe and Dan Parra, Jesse (Carrie) Burgett, Sue Ann (Jason) Gibb, Lucas Papendry, Christina, Pauly, and Amanda Parks, and Jeremy Keen; great nieces and nephews, Justin, Mia, and Destinie Parra, Alex,Brandon and Logan Gibb; his daughter, Brenda Armstrong, and his mother, Sandy Butler. He was preceded in death by his father, Bob; his brother-in-law, Denny Burciaga; and his niece, Melissa Papendry. Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, April 15, 2017, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Raul Burciaga officiating. Visitation will also be on Saturday from 12:00 PM until the time of service at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.
