Ralph O. Santiago

Ralph  O.  Santiago, age 81, of Adrian, MI, formerly of Ashtabula, OH, passed  away peacefully at home, October 19, 2017, surrounded by his family.   He was born March 7, 1936, Lares, Puerto Rico, the son of Luis Benito Santiago and Otilia Gonzalez.  Ralph served his country in the U.S. Air Force.  He retired from RMI in Ashtabula, OH, after 35 years  of service.  He faithfully attended Ashtabula First Assembly of God Church currently Gateway Church.  Ralph enjoyed, bowling, golfing and fishing and he loved to sing in his church choir.  Ralph also played the saxophone – Boots Randolph was his favorite.  He is survived by his wife, Hilda Santiago, his children, Cheryl (Kerry) Ketcham of Goldfield, Iowa, Randall (April) Santiago of Adrian, MI  and Nancy Santiago of Columbus, OH, and four grandchildren, Tessa (Andrew) Yackle, Victoria Santiago, Avelicia Santiago and Winters Bougher, two great grandsons, Mccoy and Theodore, and one brother, Armand (Redenna) Seda of Florida.  He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Sonia, Emilia and Judy .
