Norinne Louise Sharpe, age 57 of Adrian, MI, passed away at the Hospice of Lenawee Hospice Home on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, surrounded by loved ones. She was born November 12, 1957, the only daughter of Gale and Corinne R. Sharpe in Detroit, MI. Norinne lived all her life in Adrian graduating from Adrian High School in 1975. Norinne worked in insurance receiving her Property & Casualty Insurance license in 1978. she worked for many insurance firms. Norinne enjoyed travel, especially the trip she took with her mother, they traveled to Northern Michigan many times enjoying Mackinac Island, the Soo Locks and South Manitou Island. They also had an extensive trip to California and the West Coast. With friends she visited Kentucky and Florida. Norinne loved hot black coffee, donuts, a good joke and her home. she especially loved Wednesdays. Norinne is survived by her brother Gordon Sharpe (Bonnie), her niece and nephew Joanne Enwright and Joseph Sharpe and their mother Marianne Sharpe, her chosen sisters, and her angel friends (you know who you are). She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services for Norinne will be held 2:00 PM Monday, August 31, 2015, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Sarah Ross officiating. Burial will follow in Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh, MI. Visitation will also be on Monday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Catherine Cobb Domestic Violence Shelter or Hospice of Lenawee.
