Mildred Josephine Oliver, age 86, of Adrian, MI, formerly of Tecumseh, MI, passed away, December 10, 2017, at MagnumCare of Adrian. She was born April 26, 1931, in Brighton, AL, the daughter of Fred & Margaret (O'Neal) Smith. On June 4, 1949, she married John Edward Oliver in Alabama. He preceded her in death on September 2, 1992. She is survived by her four daughters, Brenda Heimerdinger (Keith Stutzman), Linda (Brandon) Waynick Jr., Cindy Frayer (Carl Rakowski) and Becky Southwell, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and one sister, Nancy Singleton. In addition to her husband John, she was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Margaret "Peg" Armstrong, sister Betty Johnson and grandson, Antonio Keith Krzeminski. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, December 14, 2017, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Daniel Sharpe officiating. Burial will follow in Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh, MI. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.
