Mary Louise (Hess) Eardley

Mary Louise Eardley (Hess), age 88,  passed away on September 18, 2017 at The Chelsea Retirement Community in Chelsea, Michigan.  She was born in Freeport, Illinois on August 24, 1929 to William F. and Mary J. Hess.  Mary was preceded in death by her parents William and Mary Hess, her husband Ward E Eardley, her brothers William F. Hess Jr., John E Hess (Anne), Robert Dale Hess, her sisters, Shirley J. Heck (Roger), Donna Mae Williams and Joan Dole (Dale).  She is survived by her loving sons, David Allen of Canfield Ohio, Robert Michael of Blissfield Michigan, Timothy Edward of Boardman Ohio, and Steven Christopher of Chelsea Michigan, as well as her granddaughter Madeline Dapprich Eardley, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Mary led an incredible life, she was a Sargent in The US Air Force WAC, and was very involved in numerous volunteer activities throughout the area.  She had a great passion for travel and loved to crochet for her family and friends.  Mary Louise Eardley had an incredible impact on many people and communities where ever she was and whatever she did.  We will all miss her loving care and passion she had for everyone she came in contact with.  Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Friday, September 22, 2017 at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh.  Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh.  Visitation will be 4:00 - 8:00 P. M. Thursday at  J.
