Marian Ruth (Sayler) Woodby

Marian Ruth Sayler Woodby, age 90, of Tecumseh, MI and Fort Myers, FL passed away April 4th at Lee Memorial Hospital, Fort Myers.  She was born July 20, 1926 in Mulberry, MI to Edward and Mae (Somes) Sayler. On Feb. 15, 1947, she married Keith Woodby and he survives. Marian attended Raisin Valley friends church and enjoyed wintering in FL.  In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Carol (Kirk) Lucas of Clinton, David (Harriet) Woodby of Adrian, Deborah Crawfurd of Denver, CO and Fort Myers, FL, and Sharon (Kirk) Krovchuck of Chesapeake, VA, eleven grandchildren, Eric, Jason, Justin (Lavonne) Lucas, Melissa (Raphael) Romero, Michelle (Mike) Simone, Joshua (Michelle), Zachary (Gina) Woodby, Chad and Christopher Crawfurd, Sara (Jeremy) McMahon, and Lindsey (Meriweather) Power, and seventeen great-grandchildren. Three brothers survive, Richard (Marian), Duaine (Judy), Arnold (Lois) Sayler, along with numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Eleanor Mckenzie, Dorothy Beach, and Marjorie DuShane, and one brother Donald Sayler.  Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday April 13 at Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, with Pastor David Woodby officiating. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery Tecumseh. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Wednesday at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.
