Maria DeJesus (Ybarra) Orozco

Maria DeJesus (Ybarra) Orozco, age 62, of Adrian, MI, passed away March 27, 2018, at University of Michigan Hospital.  She was born August 28, 1955, in Bowling Green, OH, the daughter of Jose & Refugia (Gonzalez) Ybarra. On November 27, 1974, she married Reymundo Orozco, Jr., he survives.  Today God called home another Angel. She was tough as nails, as sweet as pie. She has gained her wings and with angels she can fly. Until we meet again, Mary may you soar high in the sky. You will be greatly missed. She was a member of the Cursillo and attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Adrian, MI.    In addition to raising her five children, she enjoyed being an active part in the lives of her twenty one grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She especially looked forward to spending time with and cooking for her family during the holidays and their birthdays.  In addition to her husband Reymundo, she is survived by her children, Stella Marie (Jason) Richardson, Petra Margarita (Ramiro) Guerrero, Reymundo Jose Orozco, Maria Idalia Orozco (Jessie Salazar) and Jose Feliciano Orozco (Marianne Jones), twenty one grandchildren, Alycianna, Zachary, Arika, Jason Jr.,Marcus, Marco, Maria, Gabriel, Javier, Vanessa, Ramiro Jr., Galataya, Isabela, Diego, James, Myah, Rico, Savannah, Lilyana, Elliana and Jessie Jr., three great grandchildren, Nicole, Aliyah and Nova, her siblings, San Juanita "Yolanda" (Encarnacion) Hernandez, Marta (Bob) Ybarra-Hoffman, Dirio (Kay Marie) Ybarra, and Rosemary Orozco, sister in law, Sharon Ybarra and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose & Refugia Ybarra, brother, Jose Ybarra, brother in law, David Orozco and nephew, Isaiah Mi Angel Orozco.  Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 AM Monday, April 2, 2018, at St. Mary of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 205 Division St., Adrian, MI, with Fr. Michael Newman, OSFS presiding. Burial will follow in Lenawee County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be on Friday, March 30, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM & on Saturday, March 31, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI.  A Vigil Prayer Service will be held on Saturday at 5:00 PM at the funeral home. www. PurseFuneralHome.com
