Maria L. Morin, age 72, of Adrian, MI, passed away, April 24, 2015, at home surrounded by her family. She was born October 14, 1942, in San Antonio, TX, the daughter of Alejandro & Rosa (Lopez) Gonzalez. Maria graduated from Adrian High School in 1993 and received her diploma. She was retired from AMCO Convertible Fabrics in 2004. Maria loved to sew, crochet and make beautiful things including making flower arrangements for weddings and parties. She was very creative and talented. Maria loved life, spending time with her family & friends, she loved the outdoors, camping & nature. She is survived by her two sons, Michael (Judith) Morin and Steven (Jennifer) Morin both of Adrian, four daughters, Anita Castaneda, Theresa Morin, Patricia (Marvin) Parker all of Adrian and Alicia (Jaime) Mata of Mission, TX, one sister, Elizabeth (Thomas) Medina of Sunfield, MI, one brother, Abel Gonzalez of Adrian, thirteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Alex Gonzalez, one great grandchild and one niece. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.
