Loretta Jane (Keran) Spence

Loretta Jane Spence, age 94, of Brooklyn, formerly of Tecumseh, passed away February 16, 2917 at home under the care of her family and Great Lakes Hospice . Jane was born January 28, 1923 in Britton, Michigan the daughter of Harlan and Imo (Underwood) Keran. On June 21, 1941, she married Floyd "Bob" Spence in Britton, MI. He preceded her in death  January 15, 2004. Company was always welcome at her home as she welcomed anyone who would visit. Jane is survived by her children, William Spence and Nancy Beitelschies; 5 grandsons and 5 great grandchildren, In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; 3 children; sister; brother; son in law and daughter in law. A private family funeral service was held Saturday, February 18, 2017 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Lisa Holdridge of Great Lakes Hospice officiating.  Burial followed in Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh.
